We're looking for an individual with family & commercial litigation background with 3+ years experience.

Errard Legal is growing, and we are looking for a full time lawyer with 3+ years experience to join our Ballarat-based firm from early January 2024. 

The role involves:

• Providing high quality legal advice in ligitation;

• Regular appearances at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia;

• Instructing counsel;

• Drafting correspondence and court documents;

• Working with little supervision; and

• Engaging with clients in an empathetic and resolution-oriented manner.

In this role, you will be expected to work closely with junior staff members, assisting and mentoring them where possible. 

About you:

The successful applicant must possess:

• Strong communication skills;

• Ability to work independently and in a team, with leadership potential;

• Extensive knowledge in a range of legal areas;

• Extensive experience in case and file management;

• Minimum three (3) years post admission experience;

• A current Victorian Practicing Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
